WillieChat is a service by TheShopBuilders, located at Opbroekweg 31, 7461PH Rijssen, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce: 97888516). We are responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy policy. For questions, contact us at info@williechat.com.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect: account data (name, email address, company name), payment data (via Mollie — we do not store credit card numbers), chat conversations between visitors and the chatbot/agents, uploaded documents and website content for the knowledge base, and technical data (IP address, browser, access time) for security and analysis.

3. What do we use your data for?

We use your data for: delivering and improving the service, processing payments, communication about your account and the service, security and fraud prevention, and generating anonymized statistics.

4. Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with: Google (Gemini API, for processing chat messages), Mollie (payment processing), and hosting/infrastructure partners. We never sell your data to third parties.

5. Retention periods

Account data is retained as long as the account is active. Chat conversations are retained according to the retention period of the chosen plan (30 to 365 days). After account termination, all data is deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Contact info@williechat.com to submit a request.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive data (AES-256), secure connections (HTTPS/TLS), regular security updates, and role-based access control.
